Who are we?
Future Vision Initiative Tanzania (FVI) is a registered non-governmental organization with registration number OONGO/R/8205, envisioned to break the cycle of poverty and contribute to national development by empowering marginalized grassroots communities. We ensure access to quality education, healthcare, and protection from inequality, while fostering sustainable livelihoods, gender-inclusive opportunities, and clean energy solutions. By unleashing the full potential of individuals and families, we drive inclusive socio-economic development for a more equitable and sustainable future.
In rural Tanzania, 58% of children live below the international poverty line (World Bank, 2018), facing systemic barriers to education, healthcare, and opportunity. Many families cannot afford school fees, uniforms, or meals, forcing children into early dropout, child labor, or exploitative situations. Without intervention, poverty becomes intergenerational—limiting potential and perpetuating inequality.
