On April 25, 2025, the Future Vision Initiative (FVI) formally launched the TUNAWEZA Project in Ushetu District Council with a strategic stakeholder engagement event. This initiative is committed to fostering the completion of education for vulnerable children while simultaneously enhancing the economic resilience of their families.
The launch convened a broad spectrum of influential stakeholders, including heads of government primary and secondary schools, alongside district officials from education, social welfare, and community development sectors. This collaborative forum was instrumental in aligning priorities, refining beneficiary identification processes, and establishing a shared framework for collective ownership and sustainable program implementation.
Recognizing the pivotal role of educators as frontline guardians, the project prioritizes their involvement in beneficiary mapping—a process characterized by thorough coordination, reflective dialogue, and consensus-building on vulnerability indicators.
At Future Vision Initiative Tanzania, we affirm that education is not only a fundamental human right but also an essential catalyst for child protection and empowerment. Through TUNAWEZA, we are forging robust partnerships to construct inclusive, safe, and nurturing environments where every child can realize their full potential.
Together, we are shaping a future defined by equity, opportunity, and resilience.
